I would also like to know this. I have been wondering this myself this week.

ok wiring shows that it has 6 wires.
Yellow/Green: connects to water temp sensor, (other side of the wire) EFI
Purple: connects to Pressure regulator control solenoid valve
Orange: Vacuum switch
Black: Ground, shares a ground with water temp sensor
Black/Red: connects to Pressure regulator control solenoid valve,Air regulator. (other side of the wire) fuse block (10amp second from the bottom, on left side), EFI Main relay
Black/Yellow: connects to EFI, Ignition Switch, Starter motor
Some sort of add-on black box for the ECU/EFI?
It is the efi pressure regulator as was stated above.
This is an efi pressure regulator. No wires just fuel lines.
Emissions crap... Probably keeps the FPR from seeing vacuum for a little bit on startup, as a sort of hack-job afterstart enrichment.
+1 to what matt said. its the control module for the FPR control solenoid which just blocks the FPR from seeing vacuum. the whole setup is bs and can be deleted
OK Then.
Sorry everyone, I will not grab that part... can't make me do it.
