Speedo pinion assemble - now with pics

Got an S13 KA24DE swap and was told the S12 speedo drive pinion would just be a straight swap, but it's a differnt length.

Want to keep my stock dash and cable speedo, what are my options???

i did a kade swap i just used a speedo gear out of an s12 it works....but not accurate

i wonder if euro speedo gear pinions are different from usdms....pictures?!?!

KA24 electronic one was shorter than the S12 mechanical one, no pics it was leaking gear oil everywhere  embarrassed2

i got the digi dash... and i just swapped the speedo assembly.

I'll get a picture of the S12 one tonight or wednesday.

Just remembered I have a spare box and therefore speed sensor so can get side by side pics! Sure I should be licking windows for a living sometimes!

S13 speed probe and S12 speedo pinion (supposed to be S12 although having my doubts as it has 21 teeth which is very odd for a UK S12  grumpy)
