I'm going to need a new cluch soon...
Any suggestions? Something I can kick all day and not have to worry .
Also dose the ca18det or sr20 bolt up to that tranny? I will eventually upgrade the ca18et and would like to keep the new cluch when I do...
Thanks

you are asking what clutch disk would be the best?

I just got a F1 racing stage 3 clutch kit... comes with a lightweight flywheel. $300 on ebay..

Im waiting for shipping..Its not a famous name brand, but it should be sufficient.

Does the ca18det or sr20 bolt up to what tranny?

So you have a CA18ET ???

So you have a CA18DET then????? Or a CA18DET clutch on a CA18ET???? Takes a lot of abuse to burn one out. Spend $400- $500 on a racing clutch. The disc can 'wear out' but usually repeated hammering on it produces enough heat to take the temper out of the pressure plate and some of the clamping force is lost which allows more slip and heat; a vicious circle.

Use these numbers to cross reference parts.
Nissan '84-'86 CA18ET clutch disc # 30100 04F00 after '86... # 30100 28F00
Nissan '84 and up CA18ET pressure plate # 30210 17F00

What is the disc diameter of the clutch you have? Sometimes the numbers won't match but you can swap PPs that have the same diameter.

I always see the cluch as part of the tranny (prob wrong) not the engine so I wanted to find a clutch that works for my current  et and a future motor that has yet to be determined...

I have a ca18et but when I order parts people assume the det is the same thing and I get wrong parts....

basicly I just need a racing cluch for my et ...can't find one tho ...

I think Summit has clutches for the ET. Pricey though.

I was eye-balling them because my CA will slip the clutch in higher gears if I mash it. I've learned to live with it over spending $350 for a clutch that can take a $700 CA20ET.

Think these are them;

I thought Zoom had others. It's been years though.

Here's Jegs. They're listing like four different Zooms, Center forces and some other brand.;
