i finally purchased a t25g but am having trouble clocking it to fit with the ca18et manifold, so what i did was grind the outlet to fit. was wondering if anyone ever tried this, or should i make more effort to clock the t25g. my only concern is the extra heat that may be produce from having it that close to the manifold, i mean the housing doesn't touch the manifold but is pretty close.
here is a pix of how it look.

Clock it better, you don't want it touching or it will heat up the compressor housing with the exhaust manifold. The outlet is supposed to point nearly sideways.

k will try, but any better suggestion on how to go about it? can't seem to find a place that sell a big size snap ring pliers, and man it is hard as hell to remove that ring with a plier that i dremeled the tip.

snap ring pliers. Sorry that's what they're for. Harbor Freight or a Sears in your area.

yeah i tried both places but the pilers are just a bit to small. well i'll figure something out. thanks

try using 2 scribes. thats what i have to use at work since our snap ring pliers are wore the F out.

I bought a t25 flange and used it as a spacer to solve the same issue without any clocking

easy way to do it with buying anything I've done it plenty of times get a pry bar or a big screwdriver and a bfh (big fucking hammer) wedge the screw driver in the outlet and angle the turbo and mani so you can get leverage and give solid yet steady wacks one at a time in the dirction you need the turbo to go it will move but it will take a little force just make sure the whole assemmbly (sp) is steady and not wobbly....

i was able to loosen the snap ring by going to harbor freight and buying the biggest pliers they have and drimelling the tip. works great.
now the only problem i seem to be having is putting the oil feed line in the t25g. i spend a whole day once trying and f'en no luck. so i was thinking of buying braided oil line but i need to know where the other end of the oil feed line is.
any idea why the ca18et oil feed line won't go in the t25g turbo? i tested the t25g oem oil feed line on the t2 and it fits perfectly.
i am tired of messing with this car.

why not just use the oem t25g oil line on the t25g? and what year is your s12? that will determine wher the oil feed line is on the car

well my car is a 84 with the oil line on my t25 is different shape than the one on my ca18et engine.

Well your oil line is located on the pass side right above the oilfilter and runs along the back of the block right below the head what you could do which is what I did and I'm sure others have too is cut the hardline and replace it with a hose that can withstand the pressure I used fuel injection hose that has a blue inner coating that way if you ever have to take it apart again it will be waaaaay easier

I had the same problem with the oil line. It was by far the most frusterating part of my sawp haha. Just made new ones after a few nerve racking days.
It's just a tiny bit to short to wrap around the bigger turbo.

you could always swap to a mk1.5 block tho oil feed line is on the driverside of the block...
