Hows it going fellas!
Wondering if someone here can shed some light on something for me:
I just got my S13 SR20DET running in my Datsun project, everything seems to be going well, got it up to operating temperature (around 180-190 degrees C or so?) and decided to make sure that the turbo was getting coolant fed to it.
Good thing I checked, cause it's bone dry in there!!
It's a top mounted stock T25 turbo, with aftermarket coolant lines running to the stock locations... I pulled the lines off and there is coolant in them at the level of the radiator, it's just not being fed into the turbo for some reason.
It's also an after market radiator... perhaps the problem is that the turbo inlet/outlet are sitting slightly higher than the radiator and the engine coolant outlet?
I can't see how that would matter, because I would assume that the coolant being pumped through the system would also get pumped through the line into the turbo, regardless of how high it is mounted.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
