I was able to hunt down a FJ20e and iam thinking about the SR20 ecu mod

i was wondering if i can use a NA sr ecu on my engine too?
http://www.network54.com/Forum/166246/thre...d+to+S14+output ---> FJ Dizzy modded to S14 output (page 2)

also want to know

is there a huge diffrence betwenn FWD and RWD
S14 ecu´s and stuff are hella expensive, so i was thinking to use Primera P11 parts

the whole deal behind this mod is

I need a cat and lambda controll to pass the emissions test

I edited your link to go directly to the thread

Wow, I remember that thread, didn't remember to check back and see his updates. I would think that the SR20DE ECU would have far too agressive timing advance for a turbo engine like an FJ20ET, but for an FJ20E, might be the ticket!

well one issue might stem from the fact that n/a sr uses a distributor and turbo ones are coil on plug.

dont know if they can work the other.

Nope, ECUs are physically different too, it's one or the other.

The N/A ECU would be nice, if you want to keep using the distributor, but if you're just going to use it for a CAS, then you might as well use a turbo ECU and make use of the coil-on-plug setup.

With a turbo ECU though, you should be able to get away with out a turbo, but the precision in the tune isn't that great in the N/A range and would probably run really rich (<10:1) at full load, but it would work.

Nothing an AFC couldn't fix on the back end of things.
