Anyone Rebuilt Their Cv Axles?

OK

I have some new CV boots (inner and outer)for my Tripod style CV joints. The outer boots are pretty straight forward but the inner boots are not so clear. The inner boots have a steal collar/shell that appears to be pressed/crimped around the body of the inner CV joint.  Has anyone done these before, and how did you do it?  It looks like I would need a special mandrel tool for pressing these.

Do I need to get professional help for this task.

Peace, Wolf

I just cut mine open with ant angle grinder, and then used a different boot (from a honda accord if i remember correctly), fastened it with a big jubilee clip.
Couldn't be bothered with the over complicated (in my opinion) stock part
