hey i have owned my 85 notch with a ca20e for a while now and well after a long time thinking if i should sell it or not i finally decided to keep it and do CA18DET swap into it
if all goes well in a couple of months i'll have her running again
my interior is pretty clean (and everything works even the A/C)and dont plan on touching it much want to keep it as stock as possible besides the motor and suspension:evilbrows: as for my exterior its in desent condition got painted by the previous owner who is my uncle he was the one who put the se side and rear mud but ended up putting a mustang wind on it which i will remove. things i want and will do to the exterior is the clear turn signal turbo hood hopefully if i ever find one lol and some fogs which i think looks awsome on the car. and of course the suspension and get rid of the wheels on it now still looking around on what wheels i wanna put on it and what ofset i just cant make up my mind haha.

Dude. That's a gorgeous notch.

What year mustang is that spoiler from? I think if it were a bit lower onto the car, it'd be sick. If you take it off, send it my way.

Cool. Thanks...it's similar to the J-Spect RSX Spoiler, which I want badly for my notch.

Do you have the CA18DET already or are you searching?

No I don't have it yet I been searching for local one for a while but no luck don't really want to pay for shipping but if it comes down to I guess I would need to.

thanks guys once i find out what year wing it is i'll let you know. the one thing i really dont like about it is that it doesnt sit flush with the trunk it can be easily fixed i'll take pictures of it when i get home

I'm looking for some clear corners for the notch if any one has any let me know going to autozone today to see if they have any yellow fogs in stock.

well i had a little time today and vented the hood up by an inch and added a new rear view mirror with five angled mirror man you can see every thing behind you with it. and it doesnt look bad. since the one i had was geting eatin up from the sun ,only part of my interior that was falling apart haha. also went looking for some yellow lense fog lights but had no luck... will try agian on my next day off.

think i saw this on craigslist a couple weeks ago.

The wheels fit nice they kinda look like some old aftermarket steels for a Z car. Drop it and give it some front camber and an agressive roll & pull all around and you'll have some nice fitment.

Yea I was going to work on the suspension after I got the engine put in maybe you can help me out with it once I get it.
I painted the rims black to make them look like that. They originaly came all chromed with black rivets. Yea I had it on craigs list along time ago Nd decided not to sell

Not shure on brand there nothing special. I honestly hate them. I've been looking for a complete motor and noone seems to have one for sale in Vegas that runs good.

So I finally ended up buying a motor. Bought a sr20det redtop with a spun bearing. It came with a forced performance big 28 turbo tomie rocker arm stoppers greddy 3" down pipe nismo thermo. Z32 maf Trans with stage 3 clutch harness side mount intercooler and walbro 255 fuel pump extra crank machined .10 over. For $1200
also bought jdm Grille and clear turn signals with Silvia grill and hood emblem

Now all I need to do is save some more for the sr and parts needed.

Will be pulling out the ca20 soon.

Let me know if you ever want to get rid of your wheels I'll def take them they are hotness lol I saw them before you painted them but painted makes them look waaaay better

the wheels are black just cuz it looked better than the chrome look.
when i got it was already painted red matches the s13 red top valve cover perfectly
but i may be repainting the whole car
and for shure will end up buying a new set of rims after suspension and motor work is done.
but for now my main interest is the motor. plans at first was to do a ca18det swap but sleep on it for a while and decided it wasnt worth it.........
if you think im coping some one i am not.....
i just want to get everything together before i start taking the car apart
well have more updates very SOON

hey guys havent updated my thread in a while but since then i have bought some goodies for the notch like JDM tail lights JDM clear turn signals/ parker lights, JDM grille and the JDM silvia hood/bonnet and grille emblem. also got it konig rewinds 15x7 0 offset, enkei 92's 15x7 0 offset. rite now im getting the body ready for paint just havent decided on what color to go with to many to choose from !! just need to save some money now to put into the sr and drop it in...
any way ima post pics of when i first got the car awhile back and to were i have it now..

Yea it does but it's not perfect has a few chips and there's a area were the paint dripped plus I don't want it red

we've beaten there evo on nitrous and they can't even beat our stock black si and it's stock lol so don't even go there lol.

just a couple things nothing super crazy to it.

the black si is not squeezin ask him to pop the truck or check out the motor it's all stock as a matter of fact P1 asked him to check out his car cuz they thought he was squeezin lol cuz he smashed on that rsx with nitrous you guys got and yes you guys have an evo on nitrous we've smashed him before but now he's squeezin as well and no our black si has not beat the ek with pink rims that's also on nitrous becuase they haven't raced but she squezzes right off the line lol. trust we know more than you guys think we do. lol

But Just so you know it's all love here don't want you to think I'm an ass lol I just love to talk shit but hurry up and get your shit running so I can add your sr to list of the ones I have already smashed .

But for real it'll be good to see another s12 in the scene...
