ok so many ppl have been telling me that the CA18DET is a direct swap for the 200sx with a CA18ET.(apparently no wiring, no chopping) Can somebody confirm this? Thanks

Do some reading but it is basically a direct bolt on swap. I do believe you will need to do some amount of wiring modification since ours arent setup for the CA18DET stock wiring wise. But, our cars did come with a CA18DET stock outside the US, so that should tell you a lil.

yeah man search on here, and you shall find

however, the wiring guides on here tell you that you need to add relays to run the ecu, fuel, ign, and iacv. but, i used all the stock s12 relays, much like is shown in the KA wiring guides on here. all you have to do is reference the KA wires to the 18det wires, then wire those into your s12 harness.

if your gonna use the s13 trans, youll need a s13 front driveshaft, and youll have to hack about 2 inches out of your trans tunnel to accomidate the new shifter location. you can use the s12 trans with the 13 bellhousing and keep the s12 driveline. i think.
