hello i am gonna swap my ca18et with an ca18det
and i can get an jap spec engine loom and ecu heard that was good since they have the power transistor in italië
only its from an automatic so can i use it on my original manual mk2 trans?
and how?

what transmission it came from shouldnt matter since your gonna wanna keep your s12 lower harness, which has the transmission connectors. it will hook onto the conectors on your 18det trans, which is mainly your netural safety switch.
or if you keep your s12 trans it will just be like you didnt swap motors at all. all the wiring for the motor is done on the upper harness.
jdm harness upper harness will work. i think thats what most of us are running on our 18det's
You will need to replace the pilot bush in the rear of the DET crank with a spiggot bush, like the one in the ET.
