84 300zx Turbo Swingarms And Rotors. Whats The Difference?

I have sitting in my back yard an 84 300zx turbo. I would like the possibility of doing a 5 lug swap, and i also considered using the swing arms for a camber project. It has 5 lug suspension. I climbed under it and everything appears very very similar. Are the components interchangeable? if not, why not?

I have an 85 200sx turbo with an lsd diff from a z31 300zx.

yes u can but all us need is to swap the hubs the arms are the same so itd be less work just swapping the hubs and while doing that repacking them with grease

Ok very cool. So basically pull axles, loosen big bolt, pull out shaft and replace? When searching, I found one person who said that as well but no confirmation.

Are the axles different at all? And while Im at it, do you know if the front bits are interchangeable as well? Besides the electronic struts of course. Ill go check it out now. Thank you. This is good to know. Tyler

it is a direct bolt in for the rear swing arm. i have done this. front hubs should swap over too. you cant use the sturt amby. the spring is too wide to fit. unless you cut the lower spring seat off and weld a s12 one on there.

the subframe and control arms are exactly the same

only difference is clsd diff, 5lug, and bigger brakes

Yea i considered it. I got it with 224000 miles on it and most likely a cracked head. I know no history of this engine.

I love my datsun wheels and I love some of the other old 4 lug wheels out there, but its easier to find nice five lug wheels. Wish there was a quicker way to swap between 4 and 5.
