What has everyone who has done the DET swap, without using a front clip, done about the "vacuum reservoir" needed on the CA18DET to actuate the butterfly in the manifold???

I'm planning on integrating the ET vac tank and along with some DE check/delay valves to make it work. I haven't figured it out yet. I'm still looking through the FSM on the ET's vac tank function. Hopefully it'll go well. I'll post updates when I figure it out.

Dont need it. Just hook the actuator to vacuum.

Here's the info on it from NICO. Shows how to use it and how to succesfully not use it.

Just throw it away, and disarm the diaphragm.

When disabled, the system is open.
