Oil Filter

Hey guys,

Does anyone know what kind of oil filter fits on the CA18DET? I checked the crossover list and went over the available ones with the guy from the parts store, but they all seem bigger than the one already on there.

I haven't tried to put the bigger one on yet cuz I don't want to waste my oil without being sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

KA will work
most other nissans for that matter
honda civic/accord/etc will work
many others

mine has a honda genuine filter on it. i nabbed a few when i left the dealership i worked at.

the volume of the filter is not that important.

The diameter of the O-ring is what is most important.

Z145A is the generic part number for the CA18 one. You can use that number to cross-reference it to other brands.

Yeah...the ca18et filter fits fine......or get an oil filter relocation kit, and then you can use the big ass 1 qt capacity PH8A size filter, which is what I use, but the Mobil 1 equivalent
