Well I have a MK1.5 I believe. It's a turbo model, but it has the MK2 wing on it. Anyway. I've looked at all the S12 wiring that people have posted up and only ONE wire seems to match throughout all of the diagrams. It's the light green/black striped wire from the s12 ECU relay. It gives me .01v so I don't see how this is going to power up the ECU. If it's for the s12 ecu relay, then where is the other wire that powers up the ecu? Well since I'm gonna have to figure this out myself, I need a little help on the CA18DET side of the harness. I need to know how much voltage goes to what function etc.

I need to find out how many volts these wires are supposed to get:
transmission neutral switch - is this grounded? or does it receive some small voltage?
ecu relay - grounds the efi relay, doesn't apply to s12s
ecu power - 12V switched
ecu backup power - 12V constant
main ignition power - 12V switched
ignition start - get signal from ignition switch

Oh, and I can't seem to find the fuel pump wire nor what connector to find it on. I'll figure out something if I can't get help here.

I need to find out more info on the neutral switch since the turbo B trans doesn't have one. It is supposed to be grounded?

I can help you with this, are your wiring diagrams on the internets some where or are they in a book you have? Do you have a scan or high-res picture?

I just figured out all the MK1 KA stuff, will be posting it soon. The EFI relays on the KA stuff are weird, to say the least.

When the Neutral switch is engaged, it is usually grounded, yes.

I'm using the FR sports SR20det wiring diagram because the wire colors are exactly the same for the CA18det.
Initially I was using the diagrams on Club-s12 for the KA but they were completely off. With a volt meter I found the switched/constant volt wires. Then, after looking through the S12/S13 FSM, I found exactly what I needed. Pinouts and everything, so I'm going to have to print it out and rewire it again. =( At least I know it'll be right haha.

okay I'm retarded stupid when it comes to wiring so forgive me if i say something that doesn't make any sense whats so ever.

From what i understand is that your using a SR20DET wiring diagram? right? why not just use the CA18DET one?

wait what? i think i confused my self ha ha ha laugh.gif

i need info for wiring, i haven't gotten the motor but i wanna rest asure that when i do get it i know that what I'm doing is the right thing and not fri something or make something catch on fire when i hit the on switch laugh.gif

why were you using the wiring diagrams for the KA?

Because, the S13 KA/SR/CA wire colors are almost identical. To make more sense, I was using the SWAP guide, not the FSM diagram for the S13 harness functions. The S12 side, however, did not match up AT ALL. But now that I found exactly everything I need in the fsm, I'm good now. Whether or not I do a writeup is based on my complete and utter laziness.
