I need someone to post up pictures of the area on the back side of the throttle body (the side facing the windshield) specifically of the two small vacuum lines that run near the bottom of the throttle body into the manifold and the one that runs to a small tube connected to the intake, i found BOTH of those disconnected, and I'm not sure which one goes where.

i remeber the vacuum lines your talking about, i forgot to hook them back up when i first made my intake, i beleive one is slightly bigger that the other, thats how i figured it out, i had to cut the metal line off the back of the stock intake and reuse that. i do'nt have my v6 motor anymore so i can't realy offer you any more than that

its cool, i saw another port that i didnt see before that needed a vacuum line attached, so i figured it out.

Now, the problem still occurs, but ONLY at WOT or very close to WOT, which could be because i need to let it run for a while with em reconnected, or reset the ECU now that they ARE connected properly. OR it could be some random vacuum line that i cannot see that may be broken, but if thats the case, come warmer more money filled days, im going to pull off the entire intake and rebuild it and replace all the vacuum lines and gaskets, same with the exhaust, but I'll let a damn shop do that, because i dont feel like dealing with a stripped manifold bolt that goes on MY dime, id rather it be their problem.

It scared me though, i took it for a test drive after fixing it, and hit the throttle hard, and wasnt expecting the throw back force, i had gotten too used to the shitty power i was getting.

Yeah. 20 year old vacuum lines suck ass. Replace them all, you don't have to remove the intake mani (I wouldn't, more risk of not sealing properly, need new gaskets, etc) just do one at a time. If I remember correctly, the lines that run down with the large intake tube are headed towards the charcoal canister, but regardless any missing/disconnected vacuum lines= shitty running. If you need me to, I can take pics of the spare VG I have lying about, it may still have everything attached, and its out of the car.

Just a friendly bump to let sterling know that i would absolutely love many many VG pics outside the engine, so i can take a GOOD look at where everything is located.

Almost all 3 smaller ones were disconnect at one point and time, 2 of which i was able to match up right, but i believe one of them isnt, which im heading out to check on.

your pictures were exactly what i was looking for though, that exact area.
