i got a bov with my fmic kit. the flange came attached to a pipe already, and i put it right after the turbo(only place i had room). it's u'r run of the mill Greddy knock off. i have it on recirc and the vacume fitting on top of the diafram running to manni pressure, tee'd into fuel pressure regulator vacume. i've tryed ajusting the spring but i can't seem to get it to work right. i still get compressor serge. theirs a smaller vacume port on the underside of the diafram on the bov, whats that for?

it could be partly due to its positioning. being as close to the throttle body as possible is where its most effective

ya man it needs to be about 6-18" from the tb thats the most effecnt place for the bov, in our cars

thats what i was thinkin, just needed some clarification. guess i'll have to get a flange to move it.

My Greddy knock off did the same thing and not work. So I took it apart and rebuilt it and putting vasoline on the dyaphram; making it able to open and close easier and not get stuck. I put it back on a voila! You dont want to T the bov vac source. Use a direct vac source behind the tb.

Also, if it sill doesn't work, you can do the single spring mod. Just take it apart and use the larger spring.

But, my bov would seriously not work AT ALL. till i did this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
