hey guys. im in abit of a dilly of a pickle. my factory flywheel is abit under the weather so i need to replace it. i dout id beable to find another fj20 flywheel so im wondering if theres something else i can use to replace it?
If you could find out the diameter of the unit, plus bolt hole arrangement, and number of teeth, you may be able to compare it to other units. Thats a start, anyhow.
Also, more of the Australian/NZ crew is running FJ's than us here, as they have more of a direct access to the JDM, so I would also post up on that site.
What is wrong with your flywheel? Usually a machinist can fix most things, and the ring gear could probably be pressed off,....
you can buy parts from japan through rinkya, or go through services like rhdjapan.
you can search and buy through rinkya after you set up an account.
or go to yahoo auctions japan, find something you like, and send the link to rhdjapan or others, and they will tell you there fees and shipping quotes etc.
