Does any body ever install MK2 front corner lights/marker in an MK1? is it doable? and if yes anybody care to give me step by step? the idea is to free up the holes under the head light for ram air intake style. thanks

I'm sure it is possible to do without any modifications. People convert MKII->MKI all the time with no problems, so it should be the same mounting screws and everything..
Personally, I love the look of MKI

ic ic. I just gonna install the corner light with no MKII grille. so I will have the "ram air" holes under the light.

Are you going to keep the MK1 grill in, or have no grill?

I love how Jos'(?) car looks with the lights peeking through the MKI grille with MKII lights

Haha, yeah that's right... my friends call me jos... began as a typo. Josh, Jos... same difference.
Anyways yeah... the MK2 corners require 1 Screw and the MK1 require 2. So what I did was make another hole... just drilled one with a Dremel.

^Sweet, that's what I plan to do. Seeing an FC without the bottom lenses(and some weird bumper) made me want to do something similar. thanks again for your contribution of mk2 corners josh haha

Yeah, I think it looks pretty dope to see them open like that.
Kinda sucks when you take the fuse out to drive with them down at night with all the lights on... Only my foglights light up the road! lol. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
