lately my car has been boosting funny. When the engine is still cold, i can boost under load with no problem (most the time). After the motor warms up, it starts sputtering at high rpms when pinned. If i rev up slowly to about 4-5k then pin it, it spools fine as well till red line. I suspected the fuel pump, so i upgraded to a walbro 255, I've checked all my couplers for rips, tears, pinching or anything of that nature. Ive also changed my spark plugs and fuel filter.
Possibilites:
Vac leak somewhere? (ive tried looking for a vac leak, no luck)
bad fuel pressure regulator?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Boost Problems :(
If the problem is during hot moments, you've either got a stupid gap on your spark plugs, or your coil packs are dead.
It really could be either, do some research and make sure your plugs are at the right gapping, and if they are you will have to change your coilpacks.
I reccomend remote bosch coilpacks, they do the job REALLY well, its an upgrade you wont have to get later, and you'll never have a problem with it again, ever
I'll recheck the gap, do you think it might possibly be the maf as well?
No, the MAF doesnt really get issues that change with the heat of the engine, unless your air intake setup is shithouse...
YAY PROBLEM FIXED! I suck... it was the timing that was off. It was almost at 0 degrees when supposed to be at 15 i think. I guess when the CA gets a bit older, it starts retarding itself. My friends CA cam sensor was cranked almost all the way forward too.

Thats cuz your belt is stretched, you need to inspect it and probably change it before it breaks or skips!! As the belt stretches your timing gets retarded if its that far off its time to re-tension or replace(btw ca belts are very narrow and do not hold up well to long periods high rpm and or heavy springs and/or high lift cams)
