So finally, I suppose I want to start my build thread on this forum. I already have one on club240.com under the username Yarou so if you're interested to see the 10 something pages of odd smalltalk and pics. Anyway, I spent about 2 weeks cleaning my garage to get ready for all of this and now that everything's pretty much ready, the CA should be out within the week. Other stuff will be done, noted, and I will do write ups as I go along. So here's the list of parts/plans for you all to see, let's hope I get to it soon I'll be adding stuff to the list as it comes along

stuff lying around
-ka24de with trans
-welded diff (jack's already in)
-centerforce 2 clutch
-s13 megan coilovers
-2 f1spec seats
-addco sway
-z bushing kit
-q45 calipers/rotors
-A1 tierods
-s13 spindles/hubs

-weld up some strut bars
-gut/paint interior(probably rhino liner)
-hot shot header
-intake, custom exhaust
-hockey puck motor mounts YEAH!
-s13 driveshaft
-cutting and welding a bunch of shit, yeah!
-aftermarket guages

-stitch welding chassis

-wtf to do with the trailing arm(most likely slot)

I think its time to make a couple trips to the junk yard... And where do you plan on getting addco sway bars from?

ha...the rotas exactly looks like mine . man I wish I can pickup autobahn for $60. junkyards in my area sucks... they have very little stuff on imports except for hondas and volvos, let alone old nissan or toyota

Haha, yeah. Every time we go to the junkyard we walk around the entire yard to see what wheels all the cars have. We've found a lot of stuff, from these autobanhs to a set of enkei 92's 15x7+0. Just keep an eye out. Oh, and I think shox.com has addco sways.

Yeah, after spending too much time trolling forums, I find that california junkyards usually have what everyone is looking for. The import sections are usually enormous. If there's anything you need, just send me a PM and I could keep a look out when I go on my junk trips.

The diff is the turbo 4.11 ratio r200, it should be interesting. And the CA is going out soon! Just you wait, haha.

Yeah, shit went down today. The fenders were took forever to take off. First off, they have a load of bolts and clips. And second, in the pictures you will see a small bar thing that goes above the bumper. Now since the fender hasn't been taken off before, the paint on that piece was flush with the fender making it look like it was all one big piece. However it wasn't after much playing around, this thing and the end of the fender are fragile mind you, so it was pretty intense playing around with these things with a hammer and screwdriver. After a little playing around, I find that these things are horribly rusted to each other, so hard that I almost gave up because I didn't want to bend any of these things since the factory paint still looks good. But finally, my endeavor reaped it's rewards.

ziplock bags and magnet trays = advantage

So I did a few things today, drained more fuids, took out a bunch of random stuff, radiator, spewed out all the R-12 refrigerant, disconnected a bunch of stuff including the driveshaft, and lazed around. Going at kind of a slow pace

Hahaha, I wore one while under the car draining the fluids and the other guys wanted to feel like doctors too.

I didn't feel like going back to the engine bay today and I didn't do too much. I took out all of the interior today except the dash. More pics to whore

How bad my carpet was from all the coffee spilled from the previous owner and whatever else the hell that is. That blue bubbly thing is bubble gum stuck/melted into the carpet. And of course some of the goods the previous owner left behind for me

will the Z bushing kit still work with the S13 sus conversion?
or will a Front S13 Bushing kit be needed?
OR it's just all the same...?

The Z kit should still work I think, since the only bushings that might need changing by using an s13 LCA would only be the sway bar bushings. But even then...Should be ok. *still unsure

ps. assuming that you keep your s12 lca, I'm unsure if z31 lca bushings fit s13 lcas

S13 front coils are in, just mocking them up before paint, new ball joints, and brakes.

Haha, they are. I'll probably be changing the tie rod and tension rods in the long run. But for now, especially since it doesn't run, they'll stay stock.

Thanks! The car's general purpose is for fun/drift, I plan on taking it to as many events up here in norcal as budgetly possible.

Today was eventful, Myth_s12 came over and borrowed my enkei mesh, I picked up a pair of rewinds for 140, bought a ton of brake cleaner, and gave the s2k some attention/maintenance

Hahaha, Don't worry too much guys. I'm not done with the car yet but I'm still trying to keep the pink stuff as an acceptable accent to the rest of the colors. I'm by no means trying to make that shit the main color here, hahah. I'm sure you'll all or at least most of you will be pleased with the end result. I'm not too worried about looks and shit either because my car will probably look like a shit bucket after my first event. In other news, I just dropped some serious cash on a set of s13 coilovers which I will be fitting onto this car. I'll update when they come

Haha, thanks. This shit is really legit, I like it a lot so far compared to the megans I had.

The front's are in, and my entire brake setup. Everything is daisies

Bad part however, my hoshinos don't clear these brakes. I have to get probably a 5-10mm spacer to run them in front. The mesh and rewinds BARELY clear. Another bad part is that I'm having a little trouble getting the top nut off the rear coilover to remove the pillball mount. It'll all soon come together
