Has Anyone Done A 4-msd Coil Mod?

im just in the middle og getting my ca18det swap right now, and i realized that i have 2 msd blaster 2 coils that wont be used. my question is,

how hard/possible is it to use 4 blaster ss? can they just be wired up? i havent really had too much time to look at the engine itself since its in a shop, but can the electrical connections just be moved to the msd's and short plug wires added?

ive seen individual coil kits, but are they the same thing as this?

Yeah, you can use random big coils if you want, you just gotta identify the right wires on your wiring loom to hook them up, as the CA18DET coilpacks have 3 wires for some retarded reason. you can run them on two, one is just an earth or warning light or some crap.

Normally you'd mount your aftermarket coilpacks near the firewall and run a spark plug lead to the appropriate plugs.
