1990 Zx 300 Na R200 Vsld Problem
No....
Look for a 280zx shifter for the B transmission
ok thanks i thought that i heard that s13 stock shifters fit in thats why i ask
They do fit in the 71C transmission, which came in the MKII car.
But your car is an MKI so you have the B which is shared with the 280zx. I had one in my B transmission before it blew, and it made a really nice improvement.

so the KA short shifter would fit the C tranny from a s13 Japan front clip then right?
It should, I dont see why it wouldnt.
Pull the C Clip out and swap shifters, and it should fit in the halfcut transmission. Or are you trying to swap the entire metal plate with the shifter attached? It should work that way too..... Just try it and see what happens, its either going to work or not
ohhh ok thanks for the info
I have a r200 vsld from a 1990 300 zx na that has a problem I need help in solving. When power is applied to the unit the whole pinion unit seems to push out from the front of the casing about 1/2 inch leaving a gap between the casing and the pinion unit.
What would cause this? The unit is not leaking fluid. The unit has been placed in a Triumph TR6 and the movement pushes the driveshaft causing misallignment.
only a guess, but maybe its bound up u-joints (for whatever reason), and thats causing the "@%@$%@# angle" (i cant remember the name of it) to be off. This angle must be the same at the output of the trans, to the input of the rear end..dammit..i wish i remember the term. and thats pushing your rear end?? thats the best i can come up with..
