Hey guys,
I am going through with this idea so i will need some drawing of the rear suspension and rear subframe mounting etc of the S12. I can do all the calcs or have my old man do it, so it's not a problem. I am going for a cantlever design BUT with a twich to it. I am converting the rear into a double A arm suspension so i can get rid of the dumn semi trailing arm. Will be using propably toyota supra hubs to mount it and will need anything and will fabricate everything to make it happen. Lets go boy, we need to make this happen
Cheers
Bess

A Ton Of Help Needed
There's an FSM scan of the rear suspension/crossmember in this thread: clicky
If you're going to all the trouble of fabrication, why not just fabricate in an S13 rear crossmember and suspension? It would make ordering a set of coilovers a breeze. Although I do admit that a cantilever suspension would definitely be unique!

reason for that is that i wanna go double A arms with supra hubs. It will be some fabrication but i doubt it that much. I can run the support off the roll cage and i will use it flat not tilted with chopped off rear struts
thanks for the input and the FSM sticky bud

That FSM scan is for an M30 although very similiar i would need the exact S12 IRS scan with different spring and shock i need for scaling etc and where to mount it

What would also be helpfull is a clear pic shot if someone has saved one somewhere of the rear suspension from up close

the more the better and if you can take some real life measurements so i can make a scale down of thing, that would be ubber ubber great

So a pic if you don't mind measure something in there in real life and tell me so i can see what scale down it is. I think this is gonna be a beauty guys, and i am going for pure performance rather than looks and take care of that camber problem

spray can and license plate frame for scale hehe
I thought up something like this in my head before. Never really intended on doing it, but it's nice to see someone is. Good luck with the project.
