I am sorry if this seems like a search button question but I truely have had a hard time finding a definite answer for this. For the ka24de, max wheel hp on a stock block you should take it to is roughly 300. This limit is a little higher on sr20det....probably around 300-400 wheel horsepower. These are very high bottom end limits stock. Pretty much everyone all agrees on these numbers for these two motors. The ca18det is another story. What I am generally hearing is 220 wheel horsepower to 300 wheel horsepower with the bottom ends stock. Can someone fill me with the proper stock bottom end numbers? I know it can't be over 300 wheel horsepower but some numbers people said have been awful low....

who told you it can't be over 300whp? I made 280whp on 15 psi with an gt28r, I'm driving on 16 now (pretty close to 300)

and my new turbo (top mount 20g) set up was on a stock bottom end motor and he made 348whp with only cams. tell all these newbs to shut it, they don't know what they're talking about. with good tuning, 350whp is fine on stock bottom end.

try nico's ca18 section. we've been around for awhile, the highest hp ca18 owners in north america are on there. not to knock club-s12, but there's just not the volume of traffic on here...
