can anyone send me a picture of what the antenna plug looks like on their s12?  i have a radio out of a mk1 and i drive a mk1 but the radio has a 2 prong plug hole...looks like a tiny snake bite at the end of a tunnel.  and my antenna cord is teh conventional type with an extrusion in the middle and 1 metal pieces on either edge...just like any other radio.

can anyone help me out with this?

You can get a universal adaptor from walmart for under $10

No, this adaptor is for plugging the diversity plug to a conventional radio.  What he needs is that splitter that goes from the factory radio to the front antenna and rear antenna.

I know what you need but i don\'t feel like taking my dash out so I could take a picture.  The conventional antenna connector is from the front antenna, it plugs into a Y adapter and plugs into the factory snake bite plug ( the third Y is for the rear antenna embedded in your hatch window).  Look around inside the dash area where the radio is, who ever put in the aftermarket radio before you may have just unplugged the \"conventional\" plug and left the adapter in there.

Just did a search on the net and I think this is what you need if the original plug is not there:

Isn't the 'snake bite' one for the tape deck?

It depends on what factory "radio" was fitted in your S12.  Some cars came with a single radio with tape deck built-in.  Some came with a radio and a separate tape deck on the bottom.  For the separate unit the deck is connected to the radio with with a 8 or 5 pin DIN plug.
