Did a search, but no luck.

Does anybody have a manual that tells how much oil the h190 diff holds. If you could tell me in metric, that would be great!

No idea, i\'d say it\'s about 1.5L, fill it till it\'s level with the fill hole.  It\'s in the manual but i don\'t have the manual with me right now.

yeah...........just fill it until the gear oil starts oozing out of the fill hole

My 1985 Maintenance book tells me that the R180 takes 1 Liter (2-1/8 US pt, 1-3/4 Imp pt).  Page MA-21

1.0 Liter, so says the all mighty owners manual.  Oddly enough, this information was not available in my maintenance manual (only had info on R200 and R180).

my s12 is approaching 110k miles, what kind of diff lube would be recommended for performance?
i was thinking royal purple or something along those lines....
i just need to know the weight that would be best suited for my situation....thanks

is the r180 in my xe with irs the same as an open diff in a 280? I know this info wouldnt help me in finding an lsd...just curious because i was iffered to send in my diff to an lsd manufacturer for comparison and my friend has a spare 280 diff...then i would have to go without a car when i send the diff in.

I believe the 280 uses an R200, not the R180. So no. Your diff is not the same.

Here\'s an LSD for the R180, it\'s what I\'m getting when I get around to that.

It\'s designed for a truck, so it should take a lot of abuse. Wink
