Ok i just bought a 200sx. Its a 85 ca18et. Ok the problem is the turbo is messed up bad. Its toast. The shaft broke and the fins floated into the housing. I was just wondering what you have to do to hook up a t25 into these cars. Or would it just be easier to use a new t2.

Well the flanges are the same so thats no problem. You should put on a new oil feed line while the 'bo is off, but thats not a fitment problem, just a safety upgrade. I know someone has done this on the board so you might want to find their thread.

On a different note, do you think the compressor blades got injested into the motor? I would want to open up the head and take a look around and see if there is any damage to the pistons or cylinder walls.

no i dont think they got injested because the car still runs. The dumbass i bought it from drove it around with no turbo. I drove it up and down the road when i got it then lifted it up and ripped it apart.

There is a post that says its not direct bolt up. Thats y i asked. From what i can see it looks really close. Do you need the 02 piping or downpipe. for it to bolt on or what

you'll need the o2 pipe as the turbine outlet as not the same. the outlet to the compressor uses a flange connection instead of a straight hose barb. don't forget the gaskets to everything. oil line will have to be modified too. waterline looks like a fit.

i dunno about the states, but it looks like the 88-89 300tt used the same t25. i'm going to order the gaskets later this week and check it out.

use the t25 and then get yourself new stainless steel hoses for the water and oil lines... the stock ones are ok but you cant beat stainless

Ok I hear people say that the T25 is a direct replacement, but, is it the S13 SR20DET's T25 or the Bluebird SR20DET's T25. Reason being is I have a BB T25, and O2 elbow and was wonedring would this work? I would think the silvia one would be better. But I am not the S12 expert so which is it?

The gaskets for the t2/t25 for the exhaust manifold are the same, as i compared them on my sr20det'd 240sx The cheapest place i have found decent quality ones are the local nissan dealer. If i was not at work i would post part #'s. If anyone wants the part #'s let me know. Also be sure to get the little metal shims that sort of "hold" the gasket in. i think it was less than $5 to get both shims.
