Well guys, the time has finally come to move the world's #1 200SX SE V6 website (seriously, do a google search on 200SX SE V6) off of Angelfire's free web hosting. Reasons:
1) Out of storage space
2) Angelfire's popups have gotten ridiculous
3) They keep sending me emails because I have "one of their most popular sites" as they put it, and telling me I need to upgrade to one of their paid plans.

Well, monkeys will fly out of my butt the day I use one of Angelfire's paid plans. For hosting it looks like I'm going with eDataRack.Com. My mother uses them to host her site for the nursery school she owns and has been very happy with them, and their prices are great.
For the domain name, I'm probably going to go with DNBuy.com .

So I'm takin' suggestions for the domain name. The possibilities I've thought of and confirmed are available are:
1) www.200sxsev6.com (.org, .us are also available possibilities)
2) www.vg30s12.com (.org, .us)
3) www.v6200sx.com (.org, .us)
4) www.200sxv6.com (.org, .us)

(Don't bother clicking on those links, phpBB put them in there. They don't work)

Do you guys like any of these? How about other suggestions? Bring 'em on quick, I'm planning on deciding and moving the site by the end of this week.

That could be cool, except there's a B14 200SX SE too.

how about s12se.com / or .net/ .org whatever's available. personally, i think the simpler the better.... just looks "cleaner" to me...

other variations could be se-s12.com, s12-se.com, v6s12.com, or something of that sort...

hey buddy, I like the 200sxsev6.com. When people see the markings on your car, or whatever, they might go search for that. but is it too long? icon_confused.gif

Actually, I've made the decision. The new URL will be www.v6-s12.com.
I've registered it and set up the webspace, I'm going to wait until tomorrow or Saturday for the DNS to propogate, then I'll move the site there and put an auto-redirect on the current page.
Note to V6 guys: I may soon have the ability to host a few email addresses @v6-s12.com with web access and POP3 capability. Anyone interested in a [email removed] address for like 5 bucks per year?

I'll let you know when I'm ready to set up the e-mails. The built-in web interface isn't all that good IMHO, but it does the job. Of course you can either just use a POP3 client (i.e. Outlook, Eudora, etc.) or redirect to another web-based address if you already have one with a web interface that you like.

The website is currently up at both the old and new locations. There's a few things I have to fix this weekend, (like the SE V6 Registry which is down at the moment) then I will be putting an auto-redirect page at the old Angelfire URL. Also, I'm planning to roll out the new, re-modeled website within a week with a new look and maybe a few new goodies, one of which will be downloadable S12 wallpapers. I have a few to put up there, if anybody else has found or made any 1024x768 desktop wallpapers with an S12 theme let me know and I'll put them up there.

Better hold off on the email, Rev. The web hosting service has been doing upgrades and the mail server has been pretty unreliable for the past month. I'm going to switch if things don't improve.
