What kind of friction material are they using for the disc?

Is the pressure plate thicker, or does it use more weights? Are the springs thicker and rated stronger? This company needs to be asked these questions.

However, really you likely won't even need it until you're getting close to 300hp to the flywheel.

200sx clutch is good enough.

visit http://www.chipwizards.co.uk/projects.htm

to see Ken's car in Newcastle

with standard engine, but a steel manifold, T3 saab 900 turbo and volvo intercooler

he gets 250bhp

i've put just an intercooler on mine at 15psi and it moves faster than a 200sx and can take the beating with no pinking

great

yeah but how long will it last like that?

I think it wiser to upgrade the clutch when possible.

I noticed that nopi has several clutches listed for the 2.0 and the 1.8turbo.
Do they not work or something? they claim they will hold up to 260+lb/ft.

that sounds pretty good to me and you wounldn't have to get it from over seas. At ;east for us US folks.

UK guys! You seem to know this, does the RS13 200sx clutch fit right in to the RS12? The whole thing or just the plate?

Made sense to me..bart was thinking if the CA18DE clutch would fit in the S12...he was thinking that because the CA18DET was never imported to the states so clutches for that are surely hard to find there.
But..I think that our clutch is way better than any CA18DE clutch.

I believe they didn't either =)
I think only Japan got the CA18DE in S13's...but I think the states got CA18DE in some FWD cars..

S13 ca18det cluth is a direkt fit that means that race cluthes to ca18det also will fit.
ACT have a nice pressuerplate and then use an Sinter plate or some other "plate".
My cluth in my s13 can cope whit 630nm icon_eek.gif

Yup, I also have the RS13 clutch in mine now. And in time to come I'll probably be gettin an ARP 4-paddle sinter.
