SSC springs?!?
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Jul 2005" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
I'm picking mine up next week. Since I'm local, I'm just going to go and pick them up myself.
What company did they use for shipping?
Usually takes a while to get through customs, although Henge recieved his last week.
yeah.. i paid for my springs around jan 14th,.. and got them last monday if i remember correctly
they sent them with expedited post,.. which i'm guessing is the Canadian Postal Service
so anywhere from 3-4 weeks should be expected if you live in the US and a whole lot less if you live in canada i would assume (then again i dont know how good or bad the canadian postal service is..)
holy sh!t!! I didnt think it would take that long for delivery.
They were sent through Canada Post or something along those lines. its been 2 weeks so far, so hopefully, they will be here shortly.
You have a chance to install yours yet henge??
sure havent.. was going to try and do it the other day but could never got a hold of a spring compressor,.. i might just try it again today tho..
they didn't need a spring compressor on mine. it's not too hard to get it in. but they couldn't put the clip on at the bottom for the rubber boot. but my shocks are shot anyways so it makes no difference heh.
but yea, you shouldn't NEED a spring compressor. the springs aren't under that much load.
alright, well i went at it today and put the rear springs in,..
here is a pic of the side by side springs,..
Red = SSC Lowering Spring & Black = stock SE spring

and finally, here is a picture of the good ole' trusty smokey the bear wooden ruler,.. i dont know why, but when i measured the gap between the wheel and fender on the driver side it said about 1", but then on the passenger side it said about 2",.. WTF??
