i have a 1987 nissan 200sx, it runs and everything, but i think it could use a tune up because by the sound of the exhaust it like sounds like it skips a beat to its rhthym, and dont know when was the last time it was worked on, so i was wondering what is included in a tune up package by going to the local mechanic shop? will they clean the fuel injectors and stuff? should i take it to the dealer? and how much would i have to pay to have some one install a through out bearing? the bearing is $25 and goes in the tranny.
will that octane booster and fuel cleaner bottles that are at wall mart healp any?

but i think it could use a tune up because by the sound of the exhaust it like sounds like it skips a beat to its rhthym ... i hear cars do that all the time.. and a lot of them are cars like LT1 Camaro's and 5.0 Mustangs which are in perfect running order,.. dont really know if "the sound of the exhaust" is an automatic cause to concern

so i was wondering what is included in a tune up package by going to the local mechanic shop? will they clean the fuel injectors and stuff? unless one of us lives right down the street from you how exactly should we know? i've seen it before that different shops offer different stuff in their tune-up packages

should i take it to the dealer? the dealer is going to be the most expesensive MOST of the time, but not all the time,.. just call around and find out who will do what and for how much

and how much would i have to pay to have some one install a through out bearing? the bearing is $25 and goes in the tranny. again.. call some shops in your area and ask around, prices on labor vary from place to place

will that octane booster and fuel cleaner bottles that are at wall mart healp any? well we dont have any wall marts hear.. we have wal-mart's and they have a decent selection of stuff to offer,.. just search around the internet and find out what some of the better tested brands are and then go see if they have it,.. some of the fuel cleaner/octane boosters only show actual results if you use them and a consistant basis

OK, when i ask a question, i expect a F.UCKING ANSWER! :wall: you need to cool your jets if you like staying on this forum.. a lot of us do this thing called working (you might want to go look that up at dictionary.com if you're not familiar with the word) so we dont always have a chance to be on the forum 24/7, so sometimes it could be a day or 2 before you get an answer to a post

.... my rant is over

Now how hard was that?

not hard, but it did take up like 5 minutes of my time.. time that next time i probably wont waist again if you want to be cocky

really tho.. a lot of these were just dumb questions.. atleast do a little bit of research next time before you ask a question
