Hey, just thought to say hi and introduce myself. I'm from Canada where it's snowing right now(hate the stuff) and my 87 ca18et is in the shop. I never realized how many of these cars are actually on the road, I've only seen 2 or 3 around here.

Ello!

I like the snow, but snow+RWD+Loud Pedal = disaster or fun!

nizmo200date not saved · #7

true, but it does make for some good parking lot doughnuts if ya want. Quick question, does anyone one else have all metric guages as well. I'm trying to figure out what they actually mean in metric.

Jsvob03date not saved · #8

dont hate the snow, hate the SALT!

geoffdonkdate not saved · #9

i'm from edmonton and have the same guages i'd assume. snow doesnt suck though man, i went to school sideways today, so solid.

edit: /agree with jsvob, its the salt that kills.

nizmo200date not saved · #10

fortunately, they don't use much salt in Calgary, lots o gravel tho, hence the need for a new windshield. Mine took a rock after I first got it that I thought was coming right through.

geoffdonkdate not saved · #11

pfft, calgary. heh. what's your issue with the guages though?

nizmo200date not saved · #12

the issue is that they are completely in metric. the boost guage is in somrthing like mm2hg and the oil pressure is some weird one i have to look up again. I was brought up on imperial when it comes to cars. mph, 1/4 mile times, 0-60. I'm Canadian and I'm having trouble adjusting to metric. I feel so old now lol.
