Drift vids filmed by Salps12

Salps12 was kind enough to come and film myself and FLY PSI at the last dori pratice day.

We are trying to get the vids to Dan to host on the Club S12 website but so far these are just stored in my own space.

Part 1 is kinda dodgy, it's early in the day and we are kinda spinning out alot.

Part 2 is better :)

Incar shows me from in the car with the camera stuck to the back window on a mount :). A little shakey but very cool.

DAMN not to shabby if i do say so my self. hell better than some of the formula drift guys here in the states. i mean one of these guys forgot to torque his damn tires and it flew off when he went into the kitty litter. he was sittin there make a rooster tail from spinnin his brake rotors the dumbass didnt even know his wheel was off. the funniest thing is when he saw the wheel roll beside the car. everyone in the crowd had a good chuckle

You are talking about where i go off onto the grass near the wire fence? I'm actually aiming for the gravel track that takes me off the circuit hehe, it just looks like i've lost the plot on the vids tho haha. Where we both spin out in unison (i only made a clean exit from the track like once the whole day :P) is where the guy standing next to the exit took the photo which is my avatar now :D.

I always do a fishy (choko dori if you want to sound cool ;)) up that short straight there going into the bigest corner, it seems to work well most of the time. On good tyres you can get alot of speed and angle considering the short runup.

Dunno if we are that good tho sundayssorrowgtr but our club has some quite good drivers, two of them have either placed well or won the australian drift national rounds.

Nebs runnin an R200 LSD and fly is using an R180 locked diff :wink:

Nice. :devil: Looks like the two-tone S12 is a little underpowered, but the light-blue looked pretty clean. I'm diggin.

Our cars actually have near identical power outputs, we are both running SR20DETs with largish front mounts, 3" turbo back exhaust, pod filters and the boost wound up to 11-14psi (depending on what my bleed gives me). Only difference is i have an extractor manifold (good for around 5-7kw@rw) Before i fixed my timing FLY PSI's car actually had more power though haha, that's what comes of having it retarded instead of stock accidently.

Oh yeah i'm the lighter car and FLY PSI is the two tone, just in case you can't tell from the avatars.

Also because mine is live axle it offers more grip then Nebs IRS as his squats and cambers up alot more then mine causeing it to have a smaller contact patch with the road, in a drag race mine should launch better if we both have the same tyre's. but anyways looks like im getting a HKS T300 turbo kit for mine so i should have uber power :banger:
