the server crapped out.

but it's back..and I'm back..but now..WITH A NEW SIG!! WOOT

anyways.. i was a Joel's shop today and we wanted to post about our findings, but couldnt.. so now you guys are going to have to wait till monday, since he doesnt have the internet at his house and wont be at the shop tomorrow or friday..

I mean come on I did dialup for so long, modems are cheap and so is a dialup connection!

of course the only good s12 forum on the 'net dies the day I buy an s12! :-? oh well, back up now! you guys have so much information on here, I might be reading all night long :)

Sorry about that guys. The server company I deal with had some problems at their end. It's all resolved now though.

That's the problem with computers. Always something going wrong. I guess that's a good thing though, because that means I'll have a job when I finish university. :)

It's amaing to think about it, that before Dan, Bart, and I tossed around the idea of something that might be called "Club S12" in the same spirit of "Club DSM", there was pretty much no S12 performance base (aside from the apparently xenophobic Japanese S12 owners/tuners).

Yeah, yeah, I know I brag alot about coining the club name. So what! I'm proud of what we have here, and of Dan's tireless work since day one, and of Bart's dilligent efforts to make us stuff, and of those of you who followed from the old "Classic 200SX" yahoogroup into this now-very-large-and-in-charge international club (hah you know who you are.... you guys ever imagine it would come to THIS?), and to the die-hards that have joined us over the past few years, and to the enthusiastic newcommers in recent times.

Club DSM is actually http://www.dsm.org (http://www.dsm.org/) and that won't work for us, since http://www.s12.org (http://www.s12.org/) is some kind of strange japanese thing (seriously its odd go look guys, make sure the sound is turned up). So we had to be Club S12 dot org, requirig the dash.

It was you, Dan, who pointed out the ".org" end and that we should also be able to attain a nonprofit status as well. And so it was to be.

It's all good. It's nothing really, I guess it's just a practical joke. But if I'm wrong feel free to let off some anger on something. Anyways Club-S12 is just fine. Alteast it's really getting noticed around the Nissan World now a days... I just remember when it was like "What the hell kind of car is that!?"

man.. yesterday when i was hangin out with joel, we went up to this place called Urban Imports, and the 2 guys that worked there came out and were just going crazy bout my car, talking bout "that thing is so sexy" haha

but then like 10 minutes later this other guy came by and was like "is that a corolla?"

Hehe..servers can be such fickle things. I remember earlier this year the hosting company for my site had a major crash, it was down for like a week (and my email is through there too.) Then when it came back up everybody had to re-upload their sites because the drive died and apparently they didn't have adequate backup. No big deal for me, but if I was running a business on that domain they would have been hearing from my lawyer!

Anyways, good to have the forum back.

I just checked out S12.org, sounds pretty cool..They arent actually saying anything in Japanese from what I can remember. It sounds like they are saying some thing like octives....SO LA FA SA ME TO or whatever it is...haha

People always mistake my Notchback for an Accord, a Prelude, an MX-6, or a Corolla ...

Mine still gets mistaken for a hachi most of the time, but a 2-door accord hatch it has been mistaken for too...then they see it drift, and realize it is NOT a FWD!!

Some guy (inbred no doubt) mistook my s12 for a goddamn MUSTANG!! I was torn between crying and beating this meatflap with a sock full of quarters. A 5.0 mustang for the love of god, I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now. (curls up in corner and weeps softly)

Yeah, it's true, after being spoiled with broadband for so long now, I just can't bring myself to get dial up. I guess that's the price for moving way out in the boonies, no cable, no DSL. I need to run a phone line into the computer room before I can hook it up anyway, the previous owner did some wacky phone wiring, and it's got a short somewhere, so I basically need to rewire all the freakin phone lines. I was waiting for the cold so all the nasty creatures living underneath the house would die... :laugh:
