After the heat build up in my car at the last drift day i decided to get some decent guages instead of the factory guage (which reads some heat, a bit more heat and almost red heat....whatever that means). I put em where the tape deck used to be. Not the easiest spot to look at em when you are blasting along but doesn't matter since i'll only be glancing at them in between times anyways. I got dad to cut out the alu facing from some scrap at work and i filed it a bit to fit properly. Had to file the surround lightly to clear the bezels to. Guages don't actually read anything yet as i havn't mounted the sensors but they do look nice with their 7 colour LEDs (yay!).

More new guages

looks sweet
I love white faced dials dont know why just look neat
Yeah i like em to, downside of them is the 7 colour LED is so bright my other instruments look dull and crappy :P, i got em cos they were cheap tho so i'll live with em.
Is that for oil and water temp?
Looks good! Almost as good as my speco items
Thumbs up!
Hehe i was actualy looking for cheap speco guages when i came accross them. Yeah it's water and oil temp. I have all the information i need covered now i think. Water temp, Oil temp, Oil Pressure, Boost, Tacho, Amps. Thats all the vital statistics at least :)
Sweet looking guages Nebuchernezzer, You have to put up night time pic when your done.
Yeah i'll take one tomorrow night i think :)
Looks good!! You should get some angle rings so you can angle the gauges up and toward the driver's seat.
I never knew the ashtray location was reversed for right hand drive S12's....makes sense though.

Yah it is really cool, just take a pic of your LHD, flip the pic 180 degrees in something like paint, and it legitimately looks like a RHD car...god I get bored at school :|.
And Neb the Angular would make those guages much more visible from the drivers seat...8)
Yeah they would but due to the framing behind the face there isn't actually that much room to do it, it doesn't matter tho i can see the full faces quite easily, i might sit differently to alot of people tho, i got an OBX bucket on solid rails and a 75mm steering wheel spacer. I thought of making them more visible but in practice it doesn't matter. Not as neat a setup as in the clock place (which looks really nice whoever it was who did that) but it took SFA time to put em in where the tape deck was.
