Heh,
once again i feel like the lone CFL fan in here, but feel free to prove me wrong. BC just beat (controversially) the Riders, meaning Rider nation will have to hop the border to Edmonton to see their Riders get stomped. I'd give Hamilton a better chance of beating Montreal in the East final so we just gotta hope Hamilton beats Toronto somehow.
Anyways, my prediction? Edmonton v. Montreal Part 3.
CFL Playoffs 2004

It has been a couple years, but I can legitimately see Toronto in the Finals...Maybe it will be a re-peat from a few years ago when it was Toronto vs. Edmonton in the final...

NFL's where it's at. I'm wearing a Pennington Jersey right now.
BC just beat (controversially) the Riders, meaning RiderHehe, not this year Geoff. ;) Even though the Riders lost, we still put up 38 points against (arguably) the best team in the league. Riders have the momentum and confidence, Eskies have been on the slide for weeks.
We'll shock Edmonton by beating them in the last seconds of the game by a field goal or something, go on to a rematch with B.C. where we'll take the lessons learned from this game and find a way to stop their attack. Then it's on to face Hamilton in the Grey Cup for a repeat of the 1989 Season. :headbang: hehe
Dan buddy, truck it over the commonwealth so i can join in the "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!" cheer against you pal :D. bring the s12.
(cough) 1997 western final (cough)
(cough) 2003 western final (cough)
All I'm saying is that on any given sunday, any team can win. Especially in the CFL. I can't even count the number of times a single field goal has determined who continues on in the playoffs and who goes home. Edmonton's already home though, so they'll have a short walk. ;)
Win or lose it's sure to be a great game with lots of support going both ways, just don't part out the V6 in order to pay off the bets you placed on your riders ;).
*cough* go riders go *cough*
Hamil...who?? Argos are still in it!!...like I said it is a repeat from a few years back...Edmonton vs. Toronto... Now all we have to do is beat Montréal...:|
accepting of course that the double E just got downed.
Alright, since I feel bad now that Geoff's Eskies lost, I'll change his custom title back....
Unless you actually do have Rider Pride now? :dontknow: 8-)

That's my prediction for the Grey Cup.
mine too actually, although i'm hoping for tdot. lol.
That was the matchup in 1997, but Saskatchewan was there just out of pure luck. Edmonton and Calgary were much better teams, but they made so many errors during the playoffs that we ended up winning our way into the Grey Cup. Once we got there, Toronto didn't make the same mistakes, so we just got our asses handed to us. That's what everyone expected to happen though. Nobody was even really cheering for the Riders here.
But now the Riders actually know what they're doing, so it would be nice to have another matchup against T.O. to show them what it looks like when we're actually prepared. :evillaug:
don't "know what we're doing" me dan, lol. edmonton had terrible coaching/a terrible kicker. let me break it down.
1) flemming doesnt miss field goals that he usually hits
2) we don't fake punt at 3rd and 20 at our 20 with under 2 minutes in the half
3) there's an interference call on tuckers attempted catch in the endzone
aaaand:
Edmonton 17 - Saskachewan 7
we outplayed you guys, period. you sorta lucked past us. don't get me wrong, you deserved the win, we played like ass and were coached by ned flanders there (who will be fired in the off season), but it's not like you just dominated and are gonna steamroll through the grey cup. I hope you beat bc, and if its montreal i hope you beat them too, i just don't see it happening...
Hamilton also got more yards rushings, more first downs and more completed passes than Toronto. Did it make a difference? Nope. It's all about how many times you reach the end zone.
That's the game of football for ya. :dontknow:
hah, yeah, and i love it. i'll stay true to my title at least for this week.
ARGO'S RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take that BC...
Yah AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGOOOOOOOO'S!!!!!!!!! 8)
Meh. Didn't like either team, so barely watched the game.
