yup...crashed her this evening.
sun blinded me and when I could see again I was headed for a curb. couldn't turn away enough.
looks like only suspension damage tho. front passenger side suspension ****ed. bent in....too dark to check what I need specifically.
rear passenger wheel broken! the lip was smashed off.
so the car is being parted off for the aftermarket stuff.
I figure..I'll sell all the shit I can. and then see how much it is to repair. if it's over the amount it'll cost to get a good running S12 turbo, I'll probably just get a turbo, repair the S12 and then sell her off.
we'll see 2morrow tho what needs to be fixed.
Indy's S12 is off the road

whoa that is freaky cuz tonight I finally found out what was wrong with mine.
Well one of the road gets replaced by another. Vicious circles....
ouch!
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats two BC members this year now...And your wheels were so nice too...damn this sucks!!
Mine's uninsured, so does that count as 3 ? ;)

I meant 2 S12's that were in totaling accidents...but having an uninsured car really sucks too...:|
Darn that sucks! I've trashed my front suspention 4 times this year.(drifting) the only things that get trashed are:
tention rod (if they strip out or break)
tention rod bracket (9 out of 10, the inside is bent)
control arm (be very carful with the inspection of this! Even if it looks good. check the bushing area to see if the metal is stretched, and if its bananna
This happened to my friends s13 3 times this year. The control arms turned into banannas :)
I hope this helps you out somewhat Indy. good luck:)
Shit, i've been driving blind for months since my sunglasses got jacked from my car... i think i'll get another pair...
With the control arms bending in drift was that as a result of a crash or just the stress of bouncing around and stuff.
okay, just checked the front suspension..
looks like it needs new tie rod ends, control arm, ball joints(maybe), rack& pinion(maybe), and some bushings and bolts.
so not too bad. but still gotta check out the rear.
How fast were you going when you hit it, and how big was the curb??

Good jearb (inside joke), I love hitting shit with my vehicles. I should have taken pics of the wheel I sheared of my Ford, the wheel, drum, backing plate, and about 5 inches of axle came with it. Long live Foamy.
That damage looks really painful...especially with what they looked like when you first put them on. :(
This may not make you feel any better, but there is some irony to it..."There are two kinds of drifters; those that have hit curbs, and those that are going to" I just wish parts didn't have to get broken in the process. :(
lol thats what happened to mine the last time I stuffed her. I had a good drift going, then I hit some loose gravel (damn construction workers) I hit the curb square on the passenger side. I trashed 2 se wheels, countrol arm,and even the rear trailing arm. Make shure the rear arm is o.k. I buckled mine I had camber the wrong way. Also check the hub for runoff (weble wobble)
