Gutted out rear interiorI have exactly the same mods on my car. I ran a 16.5 @ 84mph (~ish) at a 1700' elevation track. I was having troubles getting the transmission into 3rd gear, so that's why my ET is a little slow for the speed I was going. But you should see around the same MPH on your car, at maybe a 16 flat if you can shift quickly enough.
sweet...i should be able to do some funruns during an event at Maple Grove this upcoming weekend
that i wish i could compete in with the galant but its still down :-|
I will post pics of my car at the track and timeslips...
So, how did you do?
Well i went out to a VERY crowded Maple Grove
I paid $25 and got 2 runs...
My best run i missed 4th...I belive it was destined for 15's
I race a late 90's Subaru Impreza 2.5RS 5speed w/ a hot chica drivin it.
I outlaunch her w/ a 2.2 60' (OPEN REAR WOOT) never looked back the entire run.
At the 8th i had .5 second on her still and at the 1000ft mark i was .6 ahead so i was def. pullin the biatch.
so i miss 4th right before the traps and roll to a [email removed]
after i'm coasting a few feet she zooms by and runs a [email removed]
later that night my throttle cable snapped and i limped my way home :guns:
once thats fixed I plan on going in a couple weeks again to get that 15
