that's the firewall tag off a 240RS

Now, looking at that, makes me wonder.

Under trans Axle, it uses the same tranny as us (I knew that part) but for a diff, they chose the H solid axle.

Not only that, if they used the same classification, that's a 4.60:1 R&P sitting inside it ... LSD

Ok, so they might have only made 30 of them ... so maybe this doesn't matter much.

But who else wants an FJ24T?

I do :D

where di you find that?? also the serial number says 128, so it it possible that there might be 130 possible ones?? Still not a lot, but extremely cool!! 8)

The production run was probably 00100 - 00130.

2.4 litres of turbocharged torque through 4.6:1 gearing? Frick, talk about uncontrollable wheelspin.

Arro's one-word comment on this:

SCARY

I thought the 240RS was NA only does the (T) really mean turbo?. A guy in oz has an ex works alloy carrier H190 LSD, probably the same as the one the 240RS uses.

they never made a turbo one.
it probably designates twin carb i.e.twin 48mm mikunis...
i think they are about 3mm bigger in the bore than a fj20 but, they have about 10mm more stroke, so i dont think they pistons could handle being turboed too!

I don't know what the (T) desingation is, but it is not turbo

92mm x 88mm

11:1 240 hp NA 4 banger, twin solex carbs

there's tons more info on this page, but I think a lot of it is Japanese.

that's the specs page, and according to their registry, 200 were made.

I think they have a used parts section too, including body kits and motors ;)

Oh man I want one of these ...

Hehehe ... but I don't know if I'd want to do this to it

heh, maybe I should get this window decal made for mine

http://www1.odn.ne.jp/~car32160/Traibunna.jpgPretty impressive numbers actually...240 ps/7200rpm, and 24 kg-m/6,000 rpm., and even with the FJ they maintained a curb weight of 970Kg's (about 2100 lbs)

Now here's a question, with the fact that the car is LHD, where was the intended market??
