As good as it looks it's one of many, i prefer Izumida Yuki's 1JZGTE powered D1 S14 from a few years back, much more interesting.

Really, This is the first one that I have seen...gives hope to the possiblilty of something like it being able to go into the S12...sure it would take heavy modification, but man it would be cool.

Heh things like that are being done almost once every 3 months. Currently an S15 is being done in some workshop. Cbf finding out tho!

Drive in drive out is 20 thousand with stock engine and cooler! Not worth it when you could spend 20k on a SR or CA.

yeah whats so good about that, nothing special for down here in australia. I've seen VG30DETT powered datto 1600's, RB26DETT powered 260Z's........its really not that interesting, i think the carbon fibre qtr pannels on that S14 are more impacting than the RB26DETT in the engine bay.

then look in japan, like neb said, they dump 1JZ's into nissans, and RB's into supra's and heaps of other crazy shit like the carbon fibre evo8, the R32 GTR converted to RWD for D1, time attack cars with 600ps from only a chipped computer and a low mount turbo upgrade. This is the real OMG shit!

but each to their own, i am just a crazy kent who likes crazy sh1t, RB in a S14 isnt crazy and the handelling would suck ball with all that motor up front.

my 3 cents

Actually i was just trying to remember where i saw a pic of a VH45DE in a silvia but i can't remember...now that was interesting :)
Just on the topic of dumping cash on cars there was a Option DVD i was watching a little while ago on top speed cars. They were running S13s on an oval bowl to see what sort of speeds they could pull. Fom memory it was Saurus VG31DETT 305km/h, Zenitani RB26DETT 310km/h Top Secret SR20DET 315km/h....development counts more than anything :).
Oh yeah i'm not sure the handling on the S14 would be that bad, alot of drifters here run RB20s or RB25s in S13s (cos it can be cheaper to convert a Q's than buy a K's if you have some contacts for parts) and the drift nats round 2 was one by a RB25 powered silvia. I don't think it'd be so bad but then again people do SR20 conversions on cefiros cos it's lighter faster and handles better so i guess it's personal preferance.

yeah i guess in aus we get desensitised though by the fact that every engine eventually finds its way into every car, why do we need the rb26det for that price we could do the balls of an fj,and before everyone go its old, its old whats the cost of rebuild and conversion of an fj? compare to rb26det conversion? hmm for the price of the car above i will have a worked s12 RSX and a 1jz Supra please :)

There's a few S14's around here with RB's, mostly RB25DET's though. I've seen a couple in S13's, there's an S13 in one of the "tuner" mags this month (can't remember which one) with a RB'd S13 and a 4-rotor RX7...
