Basement Jax....:) I like Red Alert. That song was used in a Coca Cola commercial a few years back. As I remember, there was a big party on a beach and stuff... I like that song.

I listen to Metallica of course, little Slip Knot, Korn, Chili Peppers, White Zombie (back when they were heavy Satanic death metal-ish;) An yes I do mean Satanic!!), Eminem, Led Zeppelin, and some other misc. Hard rock and classic rock that set the tone for all modern music! Oh, I really like that Seether song "Broken" with Amy Lee in it.

I like pretty well everything under the sun. NOFX, rancid, the smalls, led zeppelin, the beatles, pink floyd, cryptopsy, the honeymans, tenacious d, frank zappa, mozart, beethoven, nina simone, glenn miller, ween, weird al, damn near everything except country and top 40 crap. I've got 3500 songs in my collection but almost 300 artists.

for the most part just anything with a good beat and bass!

techno, rap, rock.. doesnt really matter as long as its not gospel or country

For cruising on the speed limit i'll have somthin like Jarassic 5 bumpin along, keeps me on the speed limit. When the GF is in the car, it can be anything from Destiny's Child's new song, to Sum41..........i really dont mind as i like it all.

Major labels even go so far as to create "independant" labels to release their "indie" bands.

exactly. it doesnt make the music not good though. the strokes/franz ferdinand/the killers are 3 awesome bands that call themselves 'indie'.
