O.K. we currently have 1,214 members. How many are active?

I'd say about 30-40 regulars and another 30-40 that pop in once in a while.

The hard part is I know a few members that simply look at the site and never log in or post a response even though they look every day.

Can you work out how many members have say more than 20 posts and class that number as how many regulars we have? Rough but probably ok in accuracy.

Yea I tried that But there are mambers who where active but are not now. Like (Spencer 200SX Turbo ZX) He is in the top 10, but hasn't been on sence 11/10/2003. What happened to people like that.

I used to be real active but lately my computer died so i have to use the one at school and that is for a limited amount of time and i dont always have time to post something.

We've had a bunch of people show up, post like madmen for awhile , then disappear. Sometimes they've come back later, sometimes they haven't. The group that is most active now isn't the same as who was most active six months or a year ago. Some names are the same, but several new very active members have shown up, others have disappeared or become much less active. It just seems to be the nature of a forum like this.

I would say that is a fair estimation...

I miss Spencer ... and Sterling ... and Madscientist

Spencer could spot a vacuum line issue from 1000 yards. He also had pictures of every nut, bolt and sensor on his car. Heh, probably one of the nicest guys in the world too. Sterling had a nasty motor in progress ...

:(

A lot of the members who have lots of posts but disappeared ... I guess life just got in the way.

Not only that, most of our members are young (younger than me *lol*) and are back to school now. When Jeff is done playing with DSMs, race prepped LS1s and dabbling with NASA, hopefully the GoodDoctor will be back soon.

this is the nature of virtually every forum i'm registered on or any forum i've ever visited. i visit occasionally, but college takes up more time than i thought it would, and i have two toyotas now, so i mostly hang out on the various toyota boards out on the 'net these days.

i talked to spencer a while back. that dude can diagnose anything that you throw at him. he is awesome. pr0craztinazn is right too, college takes up alot of time, perhaps too much time?????

I remember talking to Spencer shortly before he left. I remember he had either just bought a house or was trying to rent his. Either way he had a lot of work to do. He did try and sell his Bluebird ... I remember that, because he'd bought that AWD Celica.

I might have his email address still saved somewhere, I'll try and dig it up ...

Heh, maybe he just can't find the new board ;)

Rev ... Rev ... damnt can't remember his screen name, but yeah, they started the whole "post whore" bit here. *lol* Good times good times.
