America. They were made from 1984 to 1988 in the usa.

That's not true, there's some S12 crap around, Marvin has seen it seeing as he WENT to Japan last year. SO yeah this guy just doesn't know where to look... or doesn't want to.
One of us needs to go to japan and get some info. I know we can get some parts from nissan in japan. Like the jdm grill, badges, and clear wrap-a-rounds. My friend was dating a Japanese forigen exchange student and all of these parts where available a couple years ago. I only had enough for the clear wrap-a-rounds. $80 us after shipping. Get the info and I can have my shop order alot of stuff and distribute them to us all. I know alot of us are broke on this forum. Thats why moast of us got the s12 in the first place. It should cost the cost down, and when we have money, the parts will be available to us in the western hemisphere.

As I told before on the old forum that they have a hard time maintain these cars there. You would have to go to 2nd hand shop (not junkyard) and get lucky to find even a replacement part. Sure some model parts are exchangeable but genuine parts like the clear marker lites, hood & grill emblems, lite wipers, etc. are sold out and No, they won't reproduce them. Sorry. I went there on our behalf and checked Nissan blue and everywhere and even had japanese members help me out but not much luck. I'm telling you now IT'S NOT IN JAPAN. It's in other countries that we should be trying out. I have more info on my website.

the wrap-around front lights are on the aus-spec s12s. if you dont have the part number, i can obtain it for you.
im going to japan in about a year after i get out of my tech training in the airforce so i'll scope it out and perhaps if i can find one i'll buy a RS-X and strip it down peice by peice and send it to my dad's house in northern FL
There is a small sushi shop here i sometimes eat at. I have became friends with the chef there and he said i could come to japan with him when he goes back in a few months. only problem is i am already going to portland this year and i made plans. looks like i will just have to get him to look for me
Also I plan to go back in 2 years and revisit this junkyard that had old nissans in it. I still haven't made that movie yet about the junkyard but I'll get around to it. Most of all japanese parts have been aquired by the japanese members so if you need something you would have to go thru them to get it. Seriously.
Also want to go back to Up Garage to get my kick rims at any size and offset.
