And if that pics doesn't work for you...click here (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/289960/8)

BTW, I know Arro will drool over this...LOL. I just can't wait till I get to do this with my car... :burnout:

So what you put in it? Forged internals I hope

Zitron Erizodate not saved · #4

what's with you air intake?

Johnnyfivedate not saved · #5

he switched for a CA20 manifold.

westside27375date not saved · #6

Yup. Ca20e intake on my turbo motor. No forged internals...not looking for that high of power.

VERY sexy..

is she running yet? or is it just in there?

can't wait to see it!!

nov 7th..vds drift event 8 :D

I haven't quite finished the vaccum lines for it yet, but for the most part they are done. All I did was replicate what existed on my turbo intake orginally. When I'm done, I'll draw a diagram.

My car is a 85 turbo and the CA20E mani is off an 85 car too.

BTW, look out in about 3 weeks or so for my huge ass garage sale. I've got a spare Ca20E mani that needs to be sold among 20 or so other items....

Arro, I'm also using a 60mm tb and I port matched it to the ca20e plenum.

Indy, It's just sitting in there for now. Nothing hooked up but the driveshaft. If all goes well, which it won't, I should be able to fire her up by Nov. 6-7th. I need to break her in before I go and roast some tires at a drift event though. :evillaug:

Yeah I stuck a KA24 60mm TB on my CA20E intake mani too and could port match it.

But I'm not sure a 60mm TB is good for our cars (listens to horrible gasps).

We discussed this on the Z car list for us L-series six engines, since they use the same TB's, and the KA 60MM is an "upgrade" like it is for us. It basically wont help you unless you are flowing massive amounts of air, otherwise it could even reduce low end response. Again I cite something I always preach on here... smaller port geometry means higher air velocities. You only need to go bigger when you outflow it. None of us, and I mean none of us, are outflowing the stock TB.

Yeah do get me a diag and most especially a list of the various connections and where they go.

HHHEEEEYYY I bet I can pull something here with my old CA20E diags with the numbers on them (remember those?) Only I don't have those as long as they old forum us down. Dan please what can ya do?? :)

Nevermind, I found them, lemme host them and post them in a new thread.

I will need CA18ET intake manifold pictures, from all sides, like the CA20E pics I will post. I need them with numbers on it like you will see are on mine.

In case I need to host pics, whre can I go?

Arrodate not saved · #11

K it's gonna be on a thread in CA18ET Tech

Hmm maybe after the truck is fixed, I'll consider whiching over for a turbo.
