wtf, why did you get that?

what happened?

Hughdate not saved · #3

DOUBLE DEFECT! Man harsh!

toxicdate not saved · #4

Well the first time was:
- wheels to big
- clamp on battery
- oil leak

I fixed all that and went down to get it cleared and got screwed:

- window washers to operate (not plugged in)
- T-bar to show correct gear
- child anchorage mounts to be eaily accessible past rear speakers
- wheel alignment required and full report must be shown with before and after results.
- unleaded only sticker put inside petrol cap area
- clean and rectify leak in rack + pinion
- rectify excess movement in left front strut/strut top
- notify transport SA about change of colour :kicknuts:

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!

Jesus ****ing H. Christ I am glad I don't live in aus. that is total crap.

child anchorage mounts to be eaily accessible past rear speakers

What if I don't have kids am I going to need those? I think not

unleaded only sticker put inside petrol cap area

In case I (or anyone else) forget what kind of fuel every last single modern vehicle on the planet uses.

notify transport SA about change of colour

I have an idea drive by this goverment office in your "defective vehicle" so they can see what color you painted your car. edit:OH WAIT THEY INSPECTED IT!!!!???? good lord how could people be this dumb. What a cop can't determine what color your car is? He has to look it up in some book or on his laptop. GOD!!!

I feel sorry for you man. Hopefully you can get the man out of your butt.

Yep good old regency for ya man.....my friend got defected for his wipers too but he just found they where a tad blocked....

Regency is BULLSHIT! but...theres nothing in SA we can do about it. The safest way around it is to ring up regency or go to them (WITHOUT YOUR CAR) with a bunch of questions just so u CAN stay legal.

Umai Naadate not saved · #7

how do they know it needs a wheel alignment??

did they measure it with a protractor or something??

toxicdate not saved · #8

He didnt measure anything at all... he said the camber looked wierd on one side so it needs an alignment. Sounds like an excuse for just one more thing on the list if you ask me.

Alex Frostdate not saved · #9

I doubt there are too manhy lime green cars running around Australia, and the alignment is it for the rear, or the front, if it is for the rear they are SOL, nothing to fix that really yet...

Uglyoldnissandate not saved · #10

Yeah thats ridiculous, Where I live your car pretty much has to be falling to pieces (literally) before the cops do anything, even when they pull you over unless something is plainly visible they don't really say much. And thats me giving them credit and I HATE cops.

Johnnyfivedate not saved · #11

hey toxic let me gues you have to pay to be inspected too huh?

toxicdate not saved · #12

its the front they want the alignment on.

yes it cost me $70 for the inspection and i had to take a day off work so i lost money for that too.
