Thats the cleanest stock interior I have seen. Expecialy the turbo seats.

Hey, How much was that motor? I think should maybe invest in one, just to be sure my S12 lasts;)

I was actually thinking myself of that black dashboard but then again I like my Blue interior. Really nice work with the clean up job looking really sharp. Keep up with all the good work and maitenance. ;)

Is that a stock steering wheel?

I should take some photos of mine, I even have the stock Radio cassette player.

Hey thanks guys. The interior was in perfect condition when I got it in 1988, and with me keeping the windows tinted with 5% limo tint all these years I think has kept it from fading. That and keeping it parked inside.
Only thing that wore out was the drivers seat...but thats normal with 240,000 miles on the clock. The one thats in the pics I got a few years ago from a low milage S12 at a wrecker. It's in pretty good shape with minimal wear. Got it for like $30
Nemisis......the new long block I bought for $2300 from www.jasperengines.com Plus all new sensors for motor and tranny, new Center Force DF clutch, fluids and other new misc. parts probably another $450 - $500. The motor also came with a 3 yr/75000 mile nationwide warranty. Little pricey but hey....I now have a brand new motor!!
Is that a stock steering wheel?
No it's a Grant I got for free for pet sitting for a buddy of mine a few years back. I just painted it with 3 coats of metalic gun metal wheel paint, and 4 coats of clear. I wish it was a 3 spoke instead of 4, but hey....it was free! I just had to buy the mounting kit. The stock one was about twice that big in diameter, and should of had a suicide knob on it since it was so freakin big......felt like I was driving a bus!

Yeah without a doubt Keith, you have one of the top cars here.

very very nice keith... hey is it me or does your driver seat seem a little bent inwards which is a prob that everyone has had with these cars

You mean actually bent, or the whole thing turned inward? Hmmmm, I have never noticed......maybe a bad camera angle??? I'll have to go out and take a look.

bartc_jdate not saved · #15

the inside part of the back rest of the driver seat looks like early sigs of the actual seat frame bending inwards and then eventually breaking

Keithdate not saved · #16

Hmmm, it feels perfectly stable. Who knows what went on in that seat before I pulled it from the wrecker! Come to think of.....I don't think I want to know

Alex Frostdate not saved · #17

If the seat is in that good of condition after all these years I will bet not very much...;)

Yeah tints are a good thing, my 88 has none, and the tops of the rear seats has faded :(

Otherwise it was a std, great condition 60k car :D
