OMFG you mean politicians lie!!! *lol*

no duh but being able to call them on it is another thing. Some people actually take bush's or kerry's word as gospel. When more people start holding them accountable this country could actually start going somewhere.

Yeah that is a great site. The people behind it seem to actually show no political bias whatsoever, present clear, concise facts, and back them up.

I wish Cheney had gotten the URL right when he mentioned it during the Vice Presidential debate. He mistakenly advised people to look on www.factcheck.com, rather than .org .

Just some sarcasm, It is a very good site. I just wish I could find the site for here in Canada, here we have five liars instead of only two...:|

My dad told me this:

How do you know when a politician is lying?

Their lips are moving...

Thats why I dont vote... and dont get me started by saying "Why not, you should have a say in who gets elected to run this country"

I think of it more like I'm choosing which foot I get shot in. If I dont vote I dont get shot in the foot... Thats my outlook every 4 years.

Well you still get shot in the foot if you DON'T vote. My opinion is, don't complain about the government if you're not doing anything to change it.

And I don't agree with the system either. To me, it's just about choosing the lesser of two evils, but it IS neccessary.
