have anyone heard of the SUNAMI TURBO sound??
if not check it out at http://www.sunamiturbo.com
the BOV sound sounded real
that seems a little chee'z, but if it wasn't hard to install/uninstall and a little cheaper, i would buy it just for car show or something.

I heard about that... VERY ricey and cheesey.

Yeah, why advertise something you don't have. That's right up there with the plastic front mount intercoolers, or, as I like to call them, fake mount interfoolers. N/A motors have their advantages too, like instant torque.

I don't have a working turbo right now so am I allowed to use that? haha, seriously though. If I had that kind of cash I'd rig it up to a moped or something. No mutha wud eva mess wit me and my moped, 35cc of pure power. 0 - 60 in ummm, well, can mopeds reach even 60km/h? With a brisk tailwind?

Tell me someone turbo'd that vette!

edit: oh, it's a noise maker...

what a joke. and because of that, i would bet that that fine girl leaning on that prowler is really a dude. every civic, accord, prelude, and integra should come stock with one of those. hahahah

Isn't that kinda like sticking an English cucumber down your shorts and strutting about waving it at every girl that walks by?

Heh ... although it is good for laughs. I got stuck in traffic once and this rattle trap civic 4 door was in the lane next to me. He had those turbi whistlers (which I remember them originally selling them to be mounted on your fenders to scare deer away)

That was funny ... turbo noise where it shouldn't be.

I don't get it ... I mean who are you going to fool? The people that would be impressed will notice miles away (most likely by the lack of power *lol*)

The people that it does fool ... odds are you could just tell them it's turbo charged ... they won't know.

Hmm ... maybe I should make a mold for plastic 6-71 blowers ... mmm 2 sided tape.

THis remins of me a recurring ad I saw in Turbo magazine for a few years, a "plastic intercooler effect", which was essentially a faux intercooler with even partial IC pipe ends. One side looked real, the other side was hollow. What crap is that. Restrict your radiator lol.

or better the fake cross drilled rotors that idiots but right behind there hub caps or better yet over there rear drums and they are small enough that you can clearly see the drum...lol... man i hate ricers...

Sadly its not just ricers who do dumb shit like this. My mothers car has a Linko 4 speed transmission in it because she kept grinding up gearboxes. They are easy to recognize cause they have 4 shifters sticking up out of the floor. Anyways I was walking down the street one day and what do I see but a POS mid 70's Camaro (blaagh) with 4 shifters sticking out of the floor. Upon closer inspection I find three of the four have no linkage rods attached to them. Just then the white trash loser (with a mullet of course) who drove the thing comes walking up so I ask "this your car?" then "whats the deal with your shifters" and he says that it was a kit he bought from some guy and the shifters are plastic and are just screwed onto your floorboards. I was speechless. People will go to any lengths to fool people into thinking there car is the shit. Sort of sad, a bit. So yeah white trash do this kinda crap too, go figure.

Know the fake rotors by the fact that you won't see a caliper on them ;)

I saw a guy in vancouver who cut out a particle board wing that stuck two feet up off his trunk and bolted it on his pos honda accord and took a folgers coffee can and attached it to his exhaust. He also built a body kit out of what looked like sheet aluminum. He was driving around with a huge smile on his face and laughung the whole time, it was freakin hilarious. I wish i could have met this guy. I just hope he was making fun of ricers, it would be sorta scary if he wasn't.

Arrodate not saved · #17

Awhile back there was some guy on a forum who had a wooden body kit and wood Evo-style spoiler on his car... looked rather funny. The cops gave him a hard time tho so he removed it. I'm sure the pics are still somewhere on the net.

geoffdonkdate not saved · #18

so i was looking for cars with wooden spoilers on google, and i came up with this:

http://www.marcos-oc.com/svga/pages/3LV6%20Gallery%20Index.htm

what the hell? they're built on wooden chasis'? what are they?
