As it says, tonight i was being a dick and drifting in a down-poor.
I went around one of my fav drift corners in 2nd at about 3000RPM, she slid out with hardely any powerover, so i kept the foot into it and kept the tacho at 5000ish and held it for about 2 seconds at a good angle, then as she came back inline i deliberately made it go into a fish tail, then into another one, and this went on for about 4 linked fishies untill it all went pair shaped!
as i went for the 5th it went out to an insane angle that i just couldnt get the full lock on fast enuff, so i knew i was in a bit of trouble, then she kicked out the other way and it was going around so fast i knew i couldnt do sh1t, so i just let her go around and i just tromped the clutch and brake pedal and she slid to a halt.................(this is the insane bit)............i stopped between a ditch and a telephone pole..........HOW LUCKEY IS THAT!
for the rest of the drive home i didnt speed, drift or speak......i am still shaking a lil with a slight smile on my face..... man these cars are fun! and i wish i had a video camera to see the look on my face, lol..........

u should take it from me.. they mean it when they say u should go slower in they wet.. AUS roads are so ****ed u can have grip on one part of the road and u go 50m and its like ice in the wet... eps coz we have had jack all rain and when it duz it so bad
Ah... the joys of RWD...
Hehe similar thing happened to me except i JUST hit a curve.
Man in Australia, don't go drifting in the wet with roads that are PAVED!
damn nice save.. i had a similiar experiance but i almost tagged a jeep wrangler at about 40.. man i crapped my pants
Man I haven't really had any close calls...around others at least...the joys of living in the country, and having dirt roads everywhere...
lol...wow...something similar happened to me when i was driving in the hurricane weather making a left turn through a light...i ended up doing a 180...and just in the nick of time i moved out the way before the oncoming traffic came...lol...i was shaken up after that...but later on laughed it off...
i did something i dont normally do and that was going for a gallop in someone elses car (aus spec R31 squareline) in the wet!! this car has only basic breathing mods and king springs, but it just slid sooo easy!!!
a clutch pop in 2nd out of a sidestreet at 30mph is soo much fun!!
