Just figured I'd let everyone know. I contacted my local Nissan dealer today and they can get brand new turbo hoods. Only problem is that they are $450.00. Yes, I actually want one that bad:slap:

summit racing has a svo mustang hood scoop going for 55bucks that looks almost identical

Yeah....but looking at a SVO in person the scoop looks to be smaller overall than the s12 scoop.
Is that $450 from Nissan the price for the whole hood including the scoop, or just the scoop? If it's for the complete hood......that really isn't all that bad, especially since it's pretty hard to find a decent one, and without dents at the wreckers.

I measured at the widest points.....
center from top to bottom; 29"
side-to-side at the front; 27.5"

Wow, what a bummer... I got mines from a scrap yard for $18. Atleast they're brand new.

you guys suck, someone please find me one. That price is for the entire hood and scoop from nissan. What are the dimensions on that summit scoop

the summit one is 24inx24inx2in so its pretty close to the orginal

I guess the svo one would work if your just gonna slap it on the flat s12 hood, but it would surley fall through the hole in the turbo hood.
I think if it were me....I would save up and spend the extra cash and get the turbo hood new or from the wreckers...but thats just my opinion

I think that's what I'm going to do, anybody know of anyone that has a scoop, my hood's perfect

Mine looks salvageable so I'll sell mine soon for maybe 20 or so. I don't have the time to repair it.

actually I had two: scoop (project 1) aero (project 2) I've given some thought and I mite sell also the side vents (not the main) cuz I need a truck.
